Performance

The Continental Supersports sits comfortably with its title of supercar.

Refined, agile and stunningly quick.

The supreme potency of the Continental Supersports makes for an aggressive, driver centric car. Blistering 0-60mph sprint times and top speeds in excess of 200mph (320km/h) are not achieved by the impressive 621bhp (630PS) engine alone.

To achieve such performance, weight was reduced, suspension lowered and an advanced all-wheel drive system added to complement a 40:60 rear biased power delivery for greater stability.

Engine

Beneath the bonnet you will find a 621bhp Flexfuel twin-turbo charged 12-cylinder engine. It’s the most powerful Bentley engine ever designed. And it’s environmentally sustainable.

Capable of producing immense power whether running on bioethanol (E85), petrol or any combination of the two.

The black crackle finish to the engine cover and unique ‘Supersports’ script engine badge is more than a hint to its aggressive styling and phenomenal power.

Torque

Producing a remarkable 590lb ft (800Nm) of torque the Continental Supersports delivers uncompromised supercar performance.

Torque is the force that changes a steady state of motion, unlike power, which is the force that maintains it. When you accelerate it is the torque that you feel changing the rate of motion, not just the power. In a Bentley, torque is very much in the foreground of the driving experience.

The Continental Supersports develops a maximum torque of 590lb ft (800Nm) at 2000-4500rpm, translating to an immediate sensation of power as the accelerator is touched.

The advance Electronic Stability Programme offers discrete and unobtrusive control. The electronic throttle control has been recalibrated to ensure that power is restored virtually instantaneously after the ESC system has been used.

Quickshift

The impressive new 6-speed quickshift transmission matches the peerless engine for an adrenaline fuelled experience. Astonishing 200 millisecond gearshifts and effortless double downshifting. All with a simple touch of the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, improving acceleration and response times throughout the whole gear range.
